Four Oaks 2007!!!

Well were do we start, a beautiful sunny day on the opening Tuesday with a reasonable crowd of people.

Our stand was even larger this year due to the success of 2006 offering a wide and varied late summer and early Autumn range of plants, along with excellent show offers and don’t forget we also offered Traditional Dutch Pancakes

The Second day was a bit of a let down on the weather side, however trade and contacts were brisk.

So overall a SUCCESS!

We found that the demand of the direct ordering side of our business is rapidly expanding due to the two trolley minimum delivery and the weekly service we offer inclusive of an extensive range from local and regional Dutch growers, as well as our network of European Growers.

Pre-pricing and smaller shelf quantities on certain ranges in our product is becoming available, our prices are delivered in pounds inclusive of transport.

Our further aim is to call throughout the year with a sample lorry for you to select from, pre order and we deliver direct and fresh from the grower.

Come and see us at Four Oaks!!

Due to the success we feel we’ve had last year we will be present

on the oncoming Four-Oaks Show. On our stand you will find the best

selection of autumn assortment. Over more then 40 trollies of samples

will be presented. And we also have a refreshing ice-cream stand!

FOUR OAKS 2006!!!

As usual the weather was nice and bright again, we wonder how Pat is able to organize that one! At our stand we have had displayed our up to date selection, which we offer to the garden centre’s every week by Vansales and direct trading. It was very nice to have seen and spoken with many customers.

To be different is very difficult these days where trade is fairly slow and the plants are offered by many exporters. Where we feel we are different is our extra service, Ordering direct. After we have build up a very good relation with our customer by Vansales, there is an opportunity to order a minimum order of two trollies.

Pre-prized and small numbers per article. Delivered in pounds and price’s including transport. Outside our district for vansales we seem to pick up more customers. We have noticed that there is a growing interest in ordering online. Our website is completely ready to be used by ourselves and the customer to log-in.

Kildare Growers Trade Show!!

We will be exhibiting at the Kildare Growers Trade Show in

Punchestown Event Centre, Naas, Co Kildare Ireland 26^th & 27^th July for the first time.

This is the largest established major nursery stock show in Ireland, this year is the 22^nd birthday,

We shall be showing a cross section of the quality plants we supply weekly, Interplants stand will be represented by Jan Kalkman & Phil Smith.

Dutch TrolleyFair Roadshow

in the U.K.

On the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th of March at Springhead Nurseries, Gravesend

As you can see on the pictures the weather was perfect and the atmosphere was great. The hired catering provided all the customers with food and beverage.

The plants on display were A quality from Holland, Belgium and different regions of Italy such as Sicily, Albenga and Pistoia.

The fair caught the attention of customer from regions such as Essex, Kent, Sussex, London and Birmingham.

Though visitor numbers were disapointing, the sales were outstanding. We have sold over 400 loaded trolley's with only 40 buying customers.

We believe the fair was a real success because of the high number of sold trolleys and we hope to see you at the next Dutch Trolley Fair of Interplants.

Irish Market!!

At Interplants we are getting a lot of inquiries concerning costs and delivery prices for the Irish Market. Our weekly faxes and e-mails are stated in sterling which apply for North Ireland as well as the U.K. market. Due to added transport costs we charge £34.00 per trolley extra.

For the Republic of Ireland, our prices are stated in Euro's. Here we charge an extra transport charge of €50,00.
